So Happy for You

The So Happy for You set of cards has been made in Real Red,  Glorious Green and Only Orange.  The flowers have been punched with the Trio Flower punch and adorned with a small pearl.  The Butterfly adds a cheery note to the card design and the scored lines gives the card some texture.  The So Happy for You is a greeting that is suited to many different occasions and girls of all ages.

Organic Grace

I don't often make nature themed cards, so I thought I'd use some of the stamps in the Stampin' Up! Organic Grace stamp set.  I chose Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake in this card design and have punch the stamped images with the new Postage Stamp punch.  I especially like how the fern has been stamped across the two squares.  The overall finish of this card has very clean lines and the stamped images look amazing in this colour combo.

Welcome Baby Boy

The Welcome Baby Boy set of cards has been made in Baja Breeze card stock using the giraffe and lion from the Wild about You Stampin' Up! stamp set.  I have used the previous year's Designer Series Paper in a simple stripe and dot, which I really think compliments the design of the card.  A length of ribbon and a felt flower and silver brad completes each of the cards.

Wedding Congratulations

My brother in law recently got married and this is the card I made him.  Stylist in black and shimmer white, the card stock has been embossed with the Elegant Lines Textured Embossing folder.  I've added some embossed butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die and completed them with Pearls.  The Congratulations is from the Stampin' Up! Wedding Sweet stamp set, which has been punched using the Modern Label punch and raised with dimensionals.  A beautiful elegant card.

Masculine Happy Birthday

The Masculine Happy Birthday card has been designed in 2 colour sets.  The first with Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand and Night of Navy and the second in Peach Parfait, Sahara Sand and Early Espresso.  The Sahara Sand card stock has been embossed with a Happy Birthday cuttlebug embossing folder to add texture to the design.  The Happy Birthday stamp is from the Stampin' Up! Punch Bunch stamp set and has been punched using the Scallop Square punch.  This card is suitable for males of all ages.

Greetings Earthlings

This cute little alien is from the Stampin' Up! Greetings, Earthling stamp set. The repetition of an image works well in this card design.  The colors used in the card stock are Pear Pizzazz and Not Quite Navy.  Stampin' Up! have released the most cutest monsters, robots and alien stamp sets and I'll be having a wonderful time creating cards over the coming months.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

In my patterned paper stock, I had a couple of sheets of transportation related sheets.  This is the card design I eventually came up with.  The pictures of the plane, train and other automobiles have been raised with dimensionals on top of the Pacific Point coloured card stock.  Add some strips of tracks and roads and a Happy Birthday greeting and the card is complete.  Perfect for a young boy.

Bird on a Branch

The Bird on a Branch card design has been made in the Stampin' Up! colours of Baja Breeze, Kraft, Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz.  This is the first time I have used the Bird on a Branch stamp set and I quite like the look of the bird silhouette.  The leaves on the white card stock has been stamped in the matching coloured card stock ink.  I have also used versamark to stamp the leaves on the coloured card stock.  This card design is quite busy and doesn't require a greeting.

The Red Nose Reindeer card design has been made with Kraft and Soft Suede Card Stock and elegant touches of red in the Season's Greetings stamp, ribbon and red brad for the reindeer nose.  The soft suede card stock has been embossed using the Stampin' Up! Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing folder.  The Reindeer Circle has been raised with dimensionals to add more interest to the overall design.  This is simply a beautiful Christmas Card!

Merry Christmas Bauble

Just 5 1/2 weeks until Christmas, so I've been busy creating Christmas Cards.  The Merry Christmas Bauble design is one of my favourites as the bauble is dimensional.  Each card actually has 3 baubles, which means the front bauble sides can be bought forward to show all three baubles.   The Merry Christmas Bauble set of cards is offered in 10 different colours, Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist, Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy.  Each card has been finished with a gorgeous satin ribbon and Merry Christmas greeting raised with dimensionals.

Happy Birthday I {Heart} Owl

The Happy Birthday I {Heart} Owl card was designed as a masculine card.  Love the combination of the Riding Hood Red, Basic Black and Kraft designer series paper colours together.  Although this card was stamped with a Happy Birthday greeting, this would also be suited to a Happy Valentines or Happy Anniversary Card.

The Bird Cage stamp is from the Stampin' Up! Happy Moments Stamp set. Five colours with co-ordinating Designer Pattern Papers have been chosen for this card design, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie and Perfect Plum.  The Bird Card stamp is versatile in the sense that it can be used on a female or male card design.

For you

The For You card is a quick and simply design.  The flower stamp belongs to the same Stampin' Up! stamp set as the Owl I've been using recently, Punch Bunch.  The white card stock has been run though a Cuttlebug using the Square Lattice textured embossing folder and the scallop trim border punch was used on the black card stock.  To finish the card, 3 basic black brads and a Pearl basic jewell was added to give the stamped flower image sparkle and a touch of elegance.

Happy Birthday Bird

I adore these 3 Stampin' Up! colours together - Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride.  The card design is feminine and who doesn't like a bit of bling.  One of the techniques I don't do that often (but should) is to round the corners on some of the card stock and designer series paper.  I believe this gives more interest and style to the card and the overall finish makes for one very pretty layered card.

Celebrate Masculine Owl

As you can see, I have developed quite an addiction to the Owl Stamp and Punch from Stampin' Up!.  I wanted to create a simple, but elegant masculine card and I believe you can't go past classic black and white with a small amount of bling.  Love a quick and easy card when you need a crafting fix, but are short on time.

Hootie Owls for girls

After creating the Hootie Owls for boys card, I couldn't resist creating a Hootie Owl girl version.  The green girl owl uses the Stampin' Up! colours of Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery and the pink girl owl uses Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink.  I love including buttons on cards.  These button brads are from the Designer Fabric Sweet Stitches range.  Just too cute!

Hootie Owl for boys

This Hootie Owl handmade card is perfectly suited for young boys.  I have used primary colours to keep the colour scheme in the design simple and am very pleased with the finished product.  The products used are all from Stampin'Up and include the colours Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Night of Navy.  Some of the cardstock has been textured embossed with Dots and  Square Lattice.  The owl itself has been stamped from a stamp set called Punch Bunch and then punched out using the Owl Builder.
